This article presents a unique bronze object recovered from the Twentieth Dynasty Egyptian garrison at Tel Beth Shean: a suspended tray bearing a recumbent ram-headed sphinx (criosphinx) associated with the god Amun-Ra. It situates this hybrid artifact within the broader context of Egyptian imperialism in Canaan and the material evidence for multilayered cross-cultural exchanges during the Ramesside period.
